During December 2017 to March 2018, ISO conducted a series of consultative sessions with the peer offices e.g. HRO, FO, ARO, FMO, URAO, PGSO, OIR etc. to collect users' feedback about the enterprise information systems strategies and roadmap for various systems and technology initiatives for the coming few years.    Apart from the technology aspects, they expressed the need to consider the following factors in formulating the strategy and roadmap: Manpower resources availability in user departments and ISO Phased approach preferred, instead of pushing too much at the same time Better planning, need for a consolidated plan Adequate communications and consultations - need to address the human factors and concerns from different stakeholders 
Integrate Thesis Examination System with University Calendar.
In November to December 2017, Director of Information Technology Services Centre, Director of Information Systems, Academic Registrar and Director of Office of Institutional Research presented the current status of Information Technology Services and enterprise information systems, and the high-level strategy and visions for the coming years.   G4 supported the strategies and encouraged a university-wide communication and consultation to be carried out.
Enable event exemption in progress recommendation and tracking. Provide more information on progress enquiry and event enrollment for students.
Enhanced the “Student Information Inquiry” function to allow administrators to view the Student Advisor information, Progression & Academic Standing information as well as generate the unofficial transcript.
Launch of the new system for Hall Guest Services
Launching the UG Admission System for 2018/19 Entry with enhancements on the application form for Direct Entry and application administration functions.
