New function in HRMS. The medical plan registration and termination process between HKUST and AIA has been automated through real-time data integration between HRMS and AIA systems. It improves the user experience to end users and the data accuracy of the two systems

HSEO Central Laboratory system (CLS) has been enhanced to automate the monthly funding collection process between HESO and FO for 800 lab locations.

HKUST Campus opens weekend to the public starting on 5th Nov 2022. Visitors can now enjoy using Octopus Card to pay the parking fee.

The new Internship System provides a more flexible setup to support internship and industry training programs. Students can more easily submit and manage Internship applications in the system. It also offers different reports for system administrators to use these data to make more informed decisions.

CITI Program Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Course is a mandatory training program for all faculty and staff involved in research activities. The Centralised Training Solution allows tracking the program status of RCR, and sending reminders and alerts to faculty and staff.

The Merit Salary Adjustment Framework has been enhanced and approved to allocate additional Merit(AM)/Discretionary Merit(DM) Awards in 2022 with consistent Salary reference.

New Student Hall System has been launched. Staff and Students will gain a new user experience throughout the hall application and offer cycle. In addition, the new system enhances administrative operations by providing more automation in hall offers and room assignments. It also gives students more preferences allowing them to choose their roommates.

The travel Application system has launched the following enhancements in September 2022.

  • Support the new feature of the additional insurance needed for COVID to protect Travellers during the trip.
  • Relax the approval process for Guangzhou campus visits under the new travel policy."

The GZ Research Postgraduate Professional Development program consists of several workshops and modules that must be attended before completing RPg studies. The Professional Development Course (PDC) system allows students to enroll in PDC events and track student progress in PDC courses.

The GZ Student Information System can track students' academic and personal records, from Program Registration, Course Enrollment, and Grading up to Graduation Checking. It allows Hub and Thrust administrators and Central Office administrators to inquire student data.
