Data Warehouse and Analytics
The University has approved the building of a data warehouse, a central data repository to provide a single consolidated platform to collect and organize data from various sources, hence enable analysis across a range of university data for management insights and facilitate better planning and decision making. Major areas where data will be collected and analysed are:
Covers data related to student profile, class enrolment, exchange activities, academic performance, graduation information, survey response.
Covers data related to staff profile, nationality claimed, qualification, years in service, expected retirement, new recruit rate, turnover rate.
Covers data related to faculty’s profile, research publications.
Comprises university performance data at aggregate level submitted to external parties such as UGC, rankings agencies, with data of benchmarking universities to facilitate comparison across the universities.
