Human Resources and Payroll

The University offers a wide variety of services to its staffs, most with computer-based support in one form or another. Major areas where comprehensive systems have been developed to provide support are:

Human Resources Management System (HRMS)

The system includes an extensive set of functions that support:

  • Recruitment
  • Workforce Management
  • Compensation
  • Benefits
  • Payroll
  • Employee Self Service
  • Manager Self Service

On payroll related processes, the system interfaces with the Financial module of the PeopleSoft Finance Management System package and the payment system developed by ISO.

Leave System

The on-line leave system allows staffs to apply and enquire about their leave, while managers can approve and enquire leave of his / her sub-ordinates.
